Job Title: Clinical Data ProgrammerJob Description
This role is an entry-level Clinical Data Management (CDM) Programmer I position within a respected academic institution.

As part of a dynamic team, you will support data cleaning, programming, and study system configuration.

Your work will involve collaborating with sponsors and CROs to facilitate data transfers and study data integration.
Responsibilities

+ Perform quality control on study data, reports, and tables.

+ Develop and maintain programs for data cleaning.

+ Configure and maintain study setups in the electronic grading system (EGS), including custom validation rules.

+ Validate scripts using SAS, Python, or R.

+ Maintain quality control programs for importing, cleaning, merging, reshaping, and summarizing data.

+ Test and debug EGS configurations as part of the validation team.

+ Assist with the development of data management documents such as data transfer agreements, database design specifications, and data management plans.

+ Provide data reporting and visualizations, supporting reconciliation activities.

+ Attend weekly team meetings and support other tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent coursework/training.

+ At least one year of experience in data management and progressive programming.

+ Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Python, and R.

+ Ability to build, modify, and maintain scripts.

+ Strong attention to detail and comfort with quality control processes.

+ Interest in developing a long-term career in clinical data, programming, and study operations.

Work Environment
You will work fully remotely, but candidates must reside in North Carolina to transition into a permanent vacancy.

The position requires a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST.

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with the expectation of conversion based on strong performance.

The work environment is supportive and collaborative, offering mentorship and development opportunities.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Durham, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $37.00/hr.
